Awarding Sole-Source Contracts

Precision Tech can be awarded federal government contracts on a sole-source basis, in as short a timeframe as 5 business days.

Steps To Award Sole-Source Contracts:

1. Briefly describe the scope of the project

    a. Develop a statement of work (SOW) and a government estimate of the cost

2. Send letter of intent to the Washington Metropolitan Area District Office (WMADO) of the
U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) via email, see 13 CFR § 124.502(c) and the Federal
Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 19.804-2.)

    a. Indicate brief scope of work to be done

    b. Period of Performance

    c. NAIC Code

    d. Government $ Estimate of the Work

    e. Email letter to: dcofferletters@sba.gov

3. SBA District Office will accept offer within 5 business days. If no reply after 6 business days, eligibility and acceptance by SBA can be assumed.

4. Agency provides RFP to Contractor, Contractor submits proposal, costs are negotiated.

5. Agency makes award
